“Only unfulfilled love can be romantic”
Some people believe that human beings are only romantic when trying to impress, you know the wan impress kinda love?
….the gifts, the flowers, the outings, the sweet words that grace the outings….and once that love has been fulfilled or achieved to its fullest, the magic goes away…, the feeling of falling in love is lost since their is nothing to strive for anymore…
Afriend told me the othe day that
“to romance someone is to try to gratify emotional desire, and once the person is satisfied, we intend to stop the romance and then just…be”.
I also read some where that we are romantic as long as we need love, once the need is fulfilled, what do we do with the romance?
But, I personally believe that we are romantic even after we, you know, get them… but, the degree of romance depends, it depends on the expectations of the other party involved. for the most part (and I insist) woman tend to be unrealistic when it comes to love and romance, they always tend to expect a lot from us guys …they always carry around unrealistic expectations and when they are hit with the realities of reality and they notice that the reality and their unrealistic expectations about him don’t match they do what?…they start withdrawing and hence mess up the whole relationship.
That’s what I think.
